Thunderstorms are frequent in summer, and experts have provided some tips for lightning protection and electrical disasters.
It is reported that there are various ways for lightning to invade, and usually, the impact of lightning on home appliance safety is caused by the intrusion of induced lightning. Induction lightning refers to the electromagnetic pulses generated when lightning strikes and enters various metal pipes and wires of buildings. For a family, there are four main ways for induction lightning to invade: power lines, electrical wires, cable or wireless TV antenna feeders, and the exterior walls or pillars of the house.
Experts suggest that when thunderstorms are raging, everyone should stay indoors, close doors and windows to prevent lightning intrusion.
Although thunderstorms can easily damage household appliances, as long as protective measures are taken, thunderstorms can be easily avoided. During thunderstorms, disconnect the power supply and antenna plugs of various electrical and communication equipment, and do not use them temporarily. Do not use electricity during thunderstorms. At this point, to ensure personal safety, it is also advisable to avoid touching metal pipes and not using shower equipment.
