
Inspection and usage methods of air respirators
1. Safety inspection before use of air respirator: Appearance inspection: Check whether the hose connection is firm, and if there is any looseness, please handle it in a timely manner. Backpack inspection: Check whether the shoulder straps and waist belts are intact, whether the joints are loose or broken. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in a timely manner and the size should be adjusted to match one's own body. Cylinder pressure inspection: Open the cylinder valve to observe the pressure, report the cylinder pressure, and explain the standard for cylinder pressure before use: the full pressure of the cylinder is 30Mpa, and the cylinder pressure should not be lower than 28Mpa, and then report the actual pressure. Overall airtightness inspection: Open and close the gas cylinder, observe the pressure gauge, and confirm that the airtightness is intact if the pressure drop does not exceed 2Mpa within 1 minute. Check the alarm and alarm value: Turn on the gas cylinder switch to fill the pipeline with air pressure, turn off the gas cylinder switch, hold the pressure gauge with your left hand, and lightly press the yellow supply button on the back of the gas supply valve with your right hand to allow some air to slowly leak. Observe whether the alarm siren must sound when the pressure gauge reaches 5Mpa to ensure that it is intact.
Mask inspection: (1) Visual inspection: The mask is clean, without scratches or cracks, the rubber tightening strap is not loose or broken, and the lock spring is safe and functional. (2) Airtightness check: Align the mask with the face *, hold the face screen with your right hand, cover the mask interface with your left hand, take a deep breath, and ensure that the mask is tightly pressed against the face for good airtightness. Respiratory performance check: After wearing the mask, open the gas cylinder valve and take several deep breaths (without wearing a respirator). Restore the equipment to its original state and provide a brief report on the inspection results. 2. The wearing steps of the air respirator: The operator takes one step forward with their left foot, kneels down on one knee, holds the handles on both sides of the back panel with both hands, lifts the air respirator over their head, causes the gas cylinder valve to move backwards, and the inner side of the back panel to press against their back. Release the handles with both hands, insert them into the shoulder straps, and lift them up at the same time to allow the respirator to naturally slide onto their back. Adjust the length of the shoulder straps according to your height and tighten the waist belt.
