1. Wear a respirator

1.1 Remove the respirator from the packaging box and check the integrity of the system;

1.2 Check the pressure of the gas cylinder and observe the reading on the pressure gauge on the cylinder valve. If equipped with a non gauge bottle valve or self-locking bottle valve, open the bottle valve and observe the reading of the high-pressure gauge on the breathing apparatus;

1.3 Bring the flat surface of the gas cylinder closer to oneself, with one end of the cylinder having a pressure gauge facing outward. Place the left and right shoulder straps of the harness between your hands, hold the left and right handles of the backboard with both hands, lift the respirator above your head, bend your hands backwards and downwards, and lower the respirator so that the left and right shoulder straps fall on your shoulders.

1.4 Pull down the shoulder strap to ensure that the respirator is at the appropriate height, without the need to adjust it too high, as long as it feels comfortable;

1.5 Insert the chest strap. Insert the belt and tighten it forward to adjust the elasticity to the appropriate level.

　　2. Check the alarm performance of the whistle

2.1 Ensure that the gas supply valve is closed;

2.2 Open the gas cylinder valve about half a circle, observe the pressure gauge, and close the gas cylinder valve after the pressure stabilizes (Figure 8);

2.3 Alarm performance inspection: Block the outlet of the gas supply valve with the palm of the left hand, leaving a small gap. Gently press the exhaust button of the gas supply valve with the right hand to slowly exhaust, and observe the changes in the pressure gauge. When the pressure drops to about 6.5MP, the exhaust volume should be reduced. Pay attention to the pressure gauge and the alarm whistle should sound within 5.5 ± 0.5MP;

After checking the alarm performance, open the gas cylinder valve at least twice.

　　3. Wear a face mask and check for airtightness

3.1 Take out the face mask and loosen the headband of the mask;

3.2 Hang the neck strap of the mask around the neck;

3.3 Set the upper mask and place the lower jaw into the lower jaw socket of the mask;

3.4 Pull up the headband so that the center of the headband is at the center of the head;

3.5 Tighten the two headbands below to the appropriate tension, paying attention to the direction of tightening towards the back;

3.6 Tighten the two middle headbands to the appropriate level of elasticity;

3.7 Tighten the upper headband to the appropriate level of elasticity;

3.8 Check the airtightness of wearing: Block the air inlet of the face mask with the palm of your hand, take a deep breath, and if you feel that the face mask is tightly sucked towards your face and there is no airflow inside the mask, it indicates that the face mask and face are sealed.

　　4. Connect the gas supply valve and enter the work site

4.1 Align the outlet of the gas supply valve with the inlet of the mask and insert it into the mask. A gentle sound indicates that the gas supply valve and mask are connected;

4.2 Take a deep breath and open the gas supply valve;

After taking a few breaths and feeling no discomfort, you can enter the workplace;

4.4 Pay attention to changes in the pressure gauge during work. If the pressure drops to the point where the alarm whistle sounds, it must be immediately withdrawn to a safe place.

　　5. Remove the respirator

After completing work, return to a safe place;

5.2 Disengage the gas supply valve: Take a breath and hold your breath. Press the red button on the gas supply valve to close it. Hold the gas supply valve with your right hand and keep the valve body in your hand. Use your thumb, index finger, and middle finger to hold the handwheel of the gas supply bottle and rotate it by an angle. Pull the gas supply valve away from the mask.

5.3 Remove the face mask: Use your index finger to move the stainless steel buckle on the face mask headband outward to release the headband, grab the air inlet on the face mask and pull it outward to detach the face mask, then remove and place the face mask.

5.4 Removing the respirator: Insert your thumb into the waistband buckle and pull out the tongue of the plug to detach the waistband buckle; Remove the chest strap buckle; Pull the buckle on the shoulder strap outward to detach it; Grab the shoulder strap and remove the respirator.

5.5 Close the gas cylinder valve.

Press the green button on the protective cover of the gas supply valve to exhaust the remaining air in the system, otherwise the gas cylinder and pressure reducer cannot be disconnected.

　　6. Disassembly and installation of gas cylinders

6.1 Disassembly of gas cylinders:

6.1.1 Observe the pressure gauge to ensure that there is no pressure in the system

6.1.2 Loosen the gas cylinder strap by turning the wrench on it

6.1.3 Rotate the handwheel on the pressure reducer and disconnect the gas cylinder

6.2 Installing gas cylinders:

6.2.1 Insert the gas cylinder into the gas cylinder strap on the back panel

6.2.2 Make the gas cylinder and backplate vertical

6.2.3 Align the center of the gas cylinder valve outlet with the center of the pressure reducer handwheel

6.2.4 Rotate the handwheel to connect the pressure regulator to the gas cylinder
