Instructions for using car mounted fire extinguishers
Date: 2022-02-18Read: 18
Car mounted fire extinguishers, available in two small sizes of 1KG and 2KG, are suitable for configuring fire extinguishers in automobiles.

Instructions:
Before use, first invert the dry powder several times to loosen it in advance. When it is 3-4 meters away from the fire source, remove the safety pin, hold the nozzle with one hand, aim it at the fire source, and press the handle with the thumb of the other hand. The dry powder will be sprayed out immediately.
When using a fire extinguisher or pressure storage fire extinguisher with a spray hose, one hand should always press down on the handle and not release it, otherwise the spraying will be interrupted. When using a dry powder fire extinguisher to extinguish flammable and combustible liquid fires, it is necessary to spray the flames accurately. If the liquid fire being extinguished is flowing and burning, the base of the flames should be sprayed horizontally from near to far, and sprayed left and right quickly until the flames are completely extinguished.
If a flammable liquid burns in a container, the user should shake and sweep the flame from side to side accurately at the root of the flame, so that the sprayed dry powder flow covers the entire surface of the container opening; When the flame is driven out of the container, the user should continue spraying until the flame is completely extinguished. When extinguishing a combustible liquid fire in a container, attention should be paid not to directly aim the nozzle at the liquid surface to prevent the impact force of the jet from splashing out the combustible liquid and expanding the fire, causing difficulty in extinguishing the fire.
