1. Daily routine inspection and maintenance

1.1 Whole machine airtightness inspection

Close the intake valve of the air respirator supply valve, open the bottle head valve, and then close the bottle head valve after 2 minutes. The pressure gauge should not drop more than 4 Mpa within 5 minutes after the bottle head valve is closed. If the pressure drop within 5 minutes is greater than 4 Mpa, each component and connection should be checked for airtightness separately.

1.2 Alarm pressure of the alarm system

Open the cylinder head valve and close it when the pressure gauge reading rises above 7 Mpa. Observe the pressure gauge drop until the alarm starts. The starting pressure for the alarm should be between 4 Mpa and 6 Mpa. If the starting pressure of the alarm exceeds this range

The alarm should be removed and all components checked for integrity. If damaged, new components should be replaced.

1.3 Matching inspection of supply valve and full face cover

Close the intake valve of the supply valve, wear the full face mask, open the bottle head valve, and you will hear a "sizzling" sound when inhaling; When exhaling and holding the breath, the supply valve should stop supplying air without any "sizzling" sound, indicating that the supply valve is well matched with the full face mask. If the air supply valve still supplies air during exhalation and breath holding, and a "sizzling" sound can be heard, it indicates a mismatch.

At this point, a comprehensive inspection or replacement of the supply valve and full face cover should be carried out, and a matching check should be performed again until they are qualified.

1. Daily maintenance

1.1 Air bottle and bottle head valve

(1) Air bottles should avoid collisions, scratches, and impacts. High temperature baking, cold freezing, and exposure to sunlight should be avoided. Paint should be repaired in a timely manner to prevent rusting of the bottle wall.

(2) Air cylinders should be used according to the marked date on the cylinder, regularly inspected, and undergo a hydrostatic test every three years. Only after passing the test can they be used.

(3) The air inside the air bottle cannot be completely exhausted, and there should be a residual pressure of not less than 0.05Mpa.

(4) When disassembling and repairing the bottle head valve and reinstalling the air bottle, it must undergo a 28Mpa to 30Mpa air tightness test before it can be used.

2.2 Pressure reducer

Do not disassemble the pressure reducer randomly during use. When the safety valve leaks, the chamber pressure of the pressure reducer and the safety valve should be rechecked.

2.3 Full face mask

When the air respirator is not in use, the full face mask should be placed in the packaging box and should not be stored under pressure. It should be stored in a clean and dry warehouse, and should not be exposed to sunlight, toxic gases, and dust.

2.4 Supply valve

Under normal circumstances, it is strictly prohibited to disassemble the supply valve. When a malfunction occurs during maintenance, it should be installed as is and inspected to be qualified before use.

2 Precautions

(1) Air respirators and their components should be protected from direct sunlight to prevent rubber parts from aging.

(2) Air respirators are strictly prohibited from coming into contact with grease.

(3) A system for the storage, maintenance, and use of air respirators should be established.

(4) Air bottles cannot be filled with oxygen.

(5) A comprehensive inspection of the air respirator should be conducted once a month.

(6) Air respirators should not be used as diving respirators.

(7) The pressure gauge should be calibrated once a year.

(8) The compressed air used for breathing should be clean and meet the following requirements:

Carbon monoxide not exceeding 5.5mg/m³Carbon dioxide not exceeding 900 mg/m³

Oil not exceeding 0.5 mg/m³Water not exceeding 50 mg/m³
