When I was in school, I loved the saying 'If you are poor, you can be self-sufficient; if you are successful, you can benefit the world'. At that time, I even used this saying as my motto. I think this is also the goal of many people's life and work! After graduating from school for so many years, I often use this phrase to motivate myself in the workplace, but I always believe that I am still in the "poor" category in terms of "financial resources" and "talent and education", so I only think about my own responsibilities. After all, in this world, people who can do the last sentence are really rare. It is already difficult for the vast majority of people to do the first half of the sentence. Therefore, many people often regard "being self-sufficient" as their code of conduct in the workplace, often isolating themselves in a closed environment. Years have passed and they have never stepped out of the "cage" they have set for themselves. Once in a movie, I heard a hero say that the greater the ability, the greater the responsibility. Similarly, there will be proportionally more troubles and confusion than others.
In the workplace, people like this often appear around us. At the beginning, out of public will, they take on responsibilities that do not belong to them, but often encounter many obstacles and troubles. Later, they change from the initial "ambitious" to "self-centered". In fact, we are in the midst of a team, and each team member bears essentially the same responsibility, because the team is everyone's team, not just anyone's. The difference between 'poor' and 'talented' lies not in their appearance and material possessions, but in whether they have a courageous heart to take responsibility.
