The China Electric Power Research Institute was established in 1951 and is located in Beijing. In 2001, it was transformed into a wholly-owned technology-based enterprise of the power grid company and is a multidisciplinary and comprehensive research institution in the Chinese power industry. We have 11 research institutes, 10 professional companies, one engineering research center, one ministerial level quality inspection center (including 9 quality inspection stations), and a graduate department and postdoctoral mobile station.
