Level. As a response to activation signals, CD62P molecules from intracellular particles can be rapidly transferred to the cell surface; For this testing experiment, the stimulus signal is ADP. The CD62P measurement values obtained by this method can be used to evaluate platelet integrity and activation status, or to simply identify platelets within mixed blood cell populations, or to monitor non-specific activation of platelets introduced by specific experimental methods.
